Has anyone ever called you home?
A few years ago, around the time of my father’s sudden illness and unexpected death, I was called home to my hometown a few times. The flights home were difficult, to say the least, and goodbyes were always the hardest to endure, to be sure. I will never forget holding his hand in the ICU, and then praying for him at his death bed.
Praise the Lord that my dear father was saved, and is now enjoying a pain-free healthy life in heaven with God.
What about happier homecomings? Have you ever been called home for birthdays or special holidays? Hopefully, they are more uplifting times for you.
In Wish You Joy (Savannah Sweethearts Book 9) Amy Untermeyer goes home to Savannah when her widowed mother sells half of the family business to a stranger.
Amy gets her brother, Isaac, a bit worried about Mom’s condition. When his job ends abruptly, Isaac finds himself home for Thanksgiving. That’s where Call You Home (Savannah Sweethearts Book 10) begins.
This novel will be released to the reading world on July 16, 2019. Don’t miss out!
