Yes, I do consider writing as an art form. To me, writing is like painting on a blank canvas. I create art on it. I do the same thing with words on paper. I write words out of thin air. To me, writing is a form of creative expression that is unique to each individual author who writes her own books. By the grace of God, I have something to say.
I love writing. I love coming up with ideas for my books, outlining each book, and then writing every word in the book from the beginning to the end. It’s poetry to me. When I was in grade school, I used to write poems. I don’t do that anymore, because I prefer prose. The more words I can write, the better.
Because I like to write so much, I have not only a bunch of books written, but a stack more to come. I am rotating through five series in contemporary Christian romance and romantic suspense. Stay tuned.
Way back when (2016-2017), when I wrote Wish You Joy (Savannah Sweethearts Book 9), I had already outlined and semi-drafted the last book in my Savannah Sweethearts series. I took most of 2018 off to spend time with my family and to see our son graduate from high school. So this year, I’m basically trying to get back on track with my writing.
Book 7 and 8 are done. Check.
Now it’s Book 10’s turn.
Call You Home (Savannah Sweethearts Book 10) is about Piper Peyton, the chef-owner of Piper’s Place on River Street at the Savannah waterfront. Even as far back as Ask You Later (the prequel), Riverside Chapel church members have been eating there. All week long, I might add. It’s only fitting that I wrap up the entire series in this restaurant.
But uh-oh. Piper has a huge problem. Make that two huge problems.
And a third, in the form of her nemesis from high school.
I won’t tell you more. You’ll have to read it for yourself to find out what happens next.
Preorder Call You Home now, and Amazon will deliver it when the book is released in July 2019. It’s entirely possible I might release it early, but I don’t know yet. Stay tuned. I will let you know.
Right now, I’m running a short promotion for the ebook preorder at $0.99. Soon, this ebook is going full price at either $3.99 or $4.99. Don’t miss the opportunity to grab this ebook for $0.99.
Meanwhile, have you read these two books that are out now?
Meanwhile, I shall return to my writing corner. Will surface for air (or dinner) soon!
Joyfully in Jesus,
