August 31, 2019 By Jan Thompson

Written in a pocketbook format so you can read each entry on your smart phone or tablets or alongside your Bible in your personal devotions or Bible study, Writing Days: 52 Devotionals for the 52 Weeks in a Christian Writer’s Year has one goal: to encourage you, Christian writer, in your daily and weekly walk with God, hopefully strengthening your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as you serve Him through the gift of writing.

How many series am I writing?

August 30, 2019 By Jan Thompson

Praise the Lord that I finished writing all 11 books in the Savannah Sweethearts series. That series began with maybe six books, but somehow it grew and grew. Double the fun!

Right now, I am writing the rest of the Vacation Sweethearts series (2 books done, 5 more to go).

At the same time, I’m also tackling the rest of Protector Sweethearts (1 book done, 5 more to go) and Binary Hackers (1 book done, 2 more to go). I might try to finish the latter first, since there are fewer books in the series.

My oldest series is Seaside Chapel (2 books done, 10 more to go) and it’s possible that this will end up being done last among these 5 series.

In case you’re wondering, I do have a few more new series I’m contemplating writing, but I need to finish these five series that I started first. Otherwise, I would bite more than I can chew, and that’s not good for stewardship of the resources that God has given me, is giving me, and will give me.

Ultimately, to God be the glory!

Romance with Suspense

August 30, 2019 By Jan Thompson

Some readers prefer to read all romance only. Some prefer to read all suspense. Some prefer to read a bit of both, half and half. Some prefer more suspense than romance. And some prefer more romance than suspense.

For that last category of readers, I have four such books that you might enjoy.

Tell You Soon (Savannah Sweethearts Book 2)

  • JanThompson.com/tell-amazon

Love You Always (Savannah Sweethearts Book 6)

  • JanThompson.com/love-amazon

Reach for Me (Vacation Sweethearts Book 2)

Wait for Me (Vacation Sweethearts Book 3)

What about you? I read all the above. Consequently, I write all the above.

Happy reading!

Books about Billionaires!

August 29, 2019 By Jan Thompson

Guess what, readers? I do have a few of those billionaire romances. The reason I don’t make a fuss about them is that I focus on the bigger picture of spiritual growth and God’s perfect will for their lives. Those elements are more important to me than the amount of money in my characters’ piggy banks. But if you’re looking for clean and wholesome Christian billionaire romance, how about these books?

Draw You Near (Savannah Sweethearts Book 3) is about a secret billionaire who decides to live a humble life as an artist, and a not-so-secret billionaire tourist who buys her paintings.

  • JanThompson.com/draw-amazon

Cherish You Near (Savannah Sweethearts Book 4) is about one of the world’s most eligible billionaire bachelors who gets around in a custom-made wheelchair.

  • JanThompson.com/cherish-amazon

Share with Me (Seaside Chapel Book 1) is about a small-town violinist living in poverty with his grandmother, and a billionaire heiress businesswoman who collects old violins and other musical instruments that no one gets to play.

  • JanThompson.com/share-amazon

By the way, there will be one more book in the Seaside Chapel series about another billionaire and his problems. Sing with Me will be coming soon.

Happy reading!
